Some marketers may still wonder why Pinterest is so successful these days. Since the internet and technology hype started, most people have gone visual. The more they rely on the internet to search for information, the more their behavior is geared towards eye-catching images that contain interesting, useful, and valuable content. But with over 200 million monthly users, it is fair enough to take advantage of some tools like Tailwind Tribes to crush the competition!

In this article, we are going to cover everything about Tailwind Tribes and how you can use them to grow your traffic.

What are Tailwind Tribes?

It’s difficult to fully understand what Tailwind Tribes are without tackling Tailwind first. Tailwind is a popular tool for anyone looking to grow their Pinterest or drive traffic to their websites. It is commonly recommended by bloggers. Tailwind has features that allow users to schedule their pins in advance, analyze their performance using its analytics, and provide performance data for each group board to see which are working best and which are not. In other words, it is very helpful in terms of growing your Pinterest account on autopilot in just a short period of time.

Tailwind Tribes, on the other hand, are groups of bloggers, brands, and content creators who work together to achieve a common goal of increasing their website traffic! They help each other by sharing valuable resources, exchanging pins, and continually inspiring each member to do better! Therefore, being a part of the Tailwind tribe is a huge plus, especially when you want to increase traffic to get more exposure!

How Tailwind Tribes Work

Every time you join a Tailwind Tribe, you’ll be notified of their rules. The rules are vary depending on who sets it, and most of the time, it’s the owner. Below is an example of a Tailwind tribe that has its own set of rules that its members must follow.

Tailwind Tribe owners can create different sets of rules, ranging from what type of content is allowed to be shared to how many times you can add a Pin to a Tribe. One indicator that a Tailwind tribe is good is when it shares a rigid and effective reciprocal sharing rule. If the rules aren’t followed, Tailwind is powerful enough to easily spot who made the wrong move through its powerful analytics within the Tribes.

Here is a summary of the wonderful features offered by Tailwind Tribes:

  • Allows the owner to define their own rules for their tribe that members must follow.
  • Powerful analytics to know who is following the rule and who isn’t.
  • Weekly monitoring of the number of pins each member has added and shared to the Tribe.
  • A “Kick-out” button for members who are abusing the Tribe and not sharing Pins.
  • Ability to perform certain actions for each member.
  • Chat feature to send a direct message to a member.
